Harvest Table POS policy

Supported Hardware & System Requirements

Effective Date: September 12, 2026 · Last Updated: September 12, 2026

Harvest Table POS is designed around a supported hardware environment so that we can provide reliable installation, updates, payment integration, printing, and technical support.

2. Operating System

Android 13 or newer is Harvest Table POS's recommended and supported production baseline unless Angel Software expressly approves another configuration.

Square currently supports its Mobile Payments SDK on Android 9/API 28 or later for supported Square Readers and Tap to Pay configurations. That is Square's minimum for its service, not Harvest Table POS's production-support standard.

A device meeting a third party's minimum requirement does not automatically mean the device is supported by Harvest Table POS.

Angel Software may raise minimum operating-system requirements when necessary for security, compatibility, reliability, or third-party support.

3. Essentials Hardware

Harvest Table Essentials customers provide their own equipment.

Customer-provided hardware must meet Harvest Table POS compatibility requirements.

Harvest Table POS may decline to support equipment that has not been tested or approved.

4. Complete Hardware Package

Harvest Table Complete includes hardware for one POS station unless the applicable Order Form states otherwise.

The standard package may include:

  • One approved Samsung tablet
  • One compatible stand
  • One approved thermal receipt printer
  • Standard required power and connection accessories
  • One compatible Square payment device when required for Customer's supported Square payment configuration

The exact models, quantities, and charges for the hardware supplied with a Complete package are specified on the accepted invoice or Order Form and itemized before payment.

Hardware models may change based on availability, manufacturer lifecycle, compatibility, and Harvest Table POS standards. Any change is reflected on the invoice or Order Form before payment.

5. Software Licenses Versus Hardware

Each standard Harvest Table POS location license contractually allows use on up to three registered tablets. This is a software entitlement and is separate from the physical hardware supplied.

This is separate from physical hardware.

Harvest Table Complete includes physical hardware for one POS station, not three.

Customers may purchase additional approved hardware or provide approved hardware for tablet positions two and three.

Software device licenses beyond the three included devices are available at Harvest Table POS's then-current rate, currently $250 per additional tablet per year.

6. Thermal Printers

Harvest Table POS supports designated Bluetooth and/or network thermal receipt printers tested with the current Harvest Table POS release.

Not every Bluetooth printer is compatible merely because Android can pair with it.

Customers should confirm compatibility before purchasing third-party printers.

Verified in use at Faithful Acres: the Volcora 80mm white USB/Bluetooth thermal receipt printer with automatic cutter (Amazon ASIN B09GCQV32K). Angel Software has confirmed this specific printer in production use at that location.

Volcora 80mm USB/Bluetooth thermal receipt printer (Amazon ASIN B09GCQV32K)

This confirmation applies only to that specific printer as used at that location. It does not establish compatibility for other listing variants, other printer models, kitchen printing, customer displays, or Tap to Pay configurations. Confirm compatibility with Angel Software before purchasing.

7. Square Payment Hardware

Angel Software supports approved Square payment configurations compatible with the Harvest Table POS implementation.

Depending on the merchant's configuration, supported payment options may include compatible Square payment devices or supported Tap to Pay functionality.

Square determines compatibility requirements for its services and may modify those requirements.

Harvest Table Complete may include one compatible Square payment device when such hardware is required for the supported payment configuration and the applicable Order Form identifies it as included.

8. Internet and Networking

Customer is responsible for reliable business-grade internet and Wi-Fi unless networking services are expressly included on an Order Form.

Network quality directly affects cloud synchronization, payment processing, software updates, reporting, and other connected functionality.

Angel Software is not responsible for ISP outages, weak Wi-Fi coverage, firewall configuration, local network congestion, or customer networking failures.

9. Device Security

Supported devices should:

  • Receive current Android security updates
  • Use appropriate device authentication
  • Not be rooted or security-compromised
  • Restrict unauthorized application installation
  • Be physically secured when appropriate
  • Use trusted networks

Angel Software may refuse support for rooted, modified, compromised, or otherwise insecure devices.

10. Additional Hardware

Optional hardware may include:

  • Additional tablets
  • Additional stands
  • Additional receipt printers
  • Kitchen printers
  • Cash drawers
  • Customer displays
  • Barcode scanners
  • Square-compatible payment hardware
  • Networking accessories

Compatibility should be confirmed with Angel Software before purchase.

11. Register Expansion

Customers needing additional POS stations may purchase a Harvest Table POS Register Expansion Package or use approved customer-supplied hardware.

Expansion packages are quoted based on the required components.

Not every tablet requires a dedicated printer or payment device.

12. Device Replacement

A licensed device that fails, is replaced, or becomes obsolete may normally have its software entitlement transferred to an approved replacement.

Angel Software may require the old registration to be deactivated before activating the replacement.

13. Unsupported Hardware

Angel Software cannot guarantee functionality or support for:

  • Generic/unapproved Android tablets
  • Unsupported Android versions
  • Rooted devices
  • Unsupported printers
  • Unsupported payment hardware
  • Modified operating systems
  • End-of-life hardware
  • Devices lacking required security updates
  • Unapproved third-party peripherals

14. Hardware Warranty

Third-party equipment is generally subject to its manufacturer's warranty.

Angel Software may assist with troubleshooting and warranty coordination for equipment purchased through Angel Software.

Unless expressly covered by a separate written Harvest Table POS warranty, accidental damage, theft, loss, liquid damage, misuse, and unauthorized modifications are not included.

15. Changes to Supported Hardware

Technology and third-party requirements change.

Angel Software may update supported hardware and operating-system requirements to maintain security, reliability, compatibility, or manufacturer support.

Angel Software will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant changes affecting actively supported customer deployments.
